PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2010

JANUARY 17th

Christine Bisson will lead a tour (in French) of Mont St. Michel . Meet at 9h15 in the "cour de l'Avancée", near the cannons abandoned by the English in 1434--please note--there are 240 steps to the top! Mass will be at 11h30 and afterwards, lunch can be taken at one of the crêperies--remember to wrap up warm! The cost of the tour is 6.50 euros (group rate).

FEBRUARY 16th

Shrove Tuesday. Pancakes and tea at the crêperie la Morinière in Coutances, starting at 16h00.

MARCH

Pippa Weitz is holding two retirement seminars. The first, on March 8th will be in Gavray, the second on March 12th at Bellefontaine Park (near Sourdeval, south of Vire).

MARCH 22nd

Wine tasting with M Holley in the Mairie at Coutances, starting at 18h30, the cost is €15 per person. Unless we have 20 people, the event will not go ahead.

APRIL 24th

AGM in the Grande Salle, les Unelles, starting at 10h30, followed by a "pot d'amitié" for all who attend. Lunch afterwards will be at the Tournebride restaurant in Gratot, full details and booking form will accompany the AGM notification, which will be sent out in March 2010.
