Amicale Culturelle Européenne

AN ASSOCIATION IN NORMANDY

The Amicale Culturelle Européenne was founded in 1999 and is registered in France (Coutances) as an association under the loi of 1901.

Its aim is to promote communication, cultural and social activities between the French and other nationalities living in La Manche and neighbouring departments.

Today we enjoy a thriving membership of British, French and other European nationals, as well as members from other countries.

The association organises at least one social event monthly, usually with a cultural theme (visitors - click here for a taste of our events). These activities include tours within France , walks, concerts and other outings usually including a good meal at lunchtime.

Events are open to non members but, when a cost is involved, members benefit from a slight reduction.

Amicale Culturelle Européenne is linked to the umbrella association in France called The British Community Committee (BCC). Each year the BCC publishes the Directory of British and Franco-British Societies and institutions, which lists a description of their activities throughout France to which ACE members may participate.
